Rector Machine Works is a family run Machine and Fabrication shop based out of Sault Ste. Marie.  Started in 1932 in Espanola Rector Machine Works has serviced the Mining, Steel, Forestry, Energy, Construction and Pulp and Paper industries for over 75 years. Rector’s is ISO 9001-2000 and CWB certified.

Five main divisions include:

Machining: 

• Full service shop capable of machining small items to as large as 52”diameter and 22’ long.
• CNC Turning and Milling capabilities for low and high production runs.
• Portable align boring units
• Manufacture specialty line of NCB Coated Pump Sleeves for any application
• Highly skilled trades people

Welding and Fabrication:

• Manufacture of Hammer Brackets for NPK Air and Hydraulic units
• Structural, Aluminum and Stainless Steel Welding
• Ability to Punch, Bend, Roll, Shear material to specs.
• CNC capable Shear and Brake Press
• Complete assembly, install and commission of custom conveyor systems.

Driveline:

• Manufactures OEM Quality driveshafts for industrial off road equipment
• Largest stocking distributor of Dana Canada Spicer parts in Northern Ontario.
• Ability to balance OEM Industrial driveshafts and automotive drivshafts.
• Stock OEM driveline parts and components for Industrial and Automotive drivelines

Hydraulics:

• Manufacture, Repair and Rebuild Cylinders, Motors and Pumps
• Large stock of replacement parts, kits and seals for any hydraulic application.

Millwrighting:

• Team of Industrial Millwrights repair, install and commission all types of new and used machinery.
• Ability to provide complete mobile millwrighting and maintenance
• Ability to remove, rebuild and reinstall industrial equipment
• New Sterling 8 ton Pitman truck
