The company has a substantial inhouse engineering group and the engineering services are specific to underground mine access work and give the company design-build capability when it comes to shaft projects. In operation since 1998, Cementation is one of the largest mine contractors in North America. The company is part of the Murray & Roberts group of companies and has sister companies in South Africa and Australia.
